Salmon with Sweet Potato Rounds and Roasted Cauliflower Steaks - Cut lengthwise through the core as shown in picture, drizzle with melted coconut oil, add s+p, bake at 400 for 20 min turning once.
Paleo Chicken Fingers and Home Fries and Raw Veggies- Ashton's favourite food is fries so we tend to make them almost once a week. They are much better if they are home made - made with coconut oil and baked rather than pre-fried in an unhealthy inflammatory oil like many store bought or restaurant fries.
Gluten Free Lasagne with cashew "cheese" sauce - Layer gluten free noodles, spinach, ground meat with marinara sauce, and cashew cheese sauce (or cheese)
Breakfast for Supper - Bacon, Eggs, and fried Plantains. I love fried plantains. I often have them for breakfast along with some protein. Make sure you fry them when they are still nice and green. They taste so much like fried potatoes. They are sweeter when they start to ripen more but really aren't very good unless they are green.
Note: You can reduce amount of fat in recipe, also can use coconut oil instead of butter if you like. Find a good quality bacon. I like to go to butcher shops because they have less or no preservatives and less or no added salt. In the Niverville area, Waldners Meats sells delicious, thick cut bacon and it's cheap!
Christmas Movie night withApple Nachos - I think Ashton will love these!
Roasted Chickpeas - Jason loves these.
